Nadine Aisha Jassat- The Hidden Story of Estie Noor
The summer holidays are the perfect time for children to enjoy a good book or six!
Glasgow Libraries are delighted to once again offer the Summer Reading Challenge- a fun free programme for children which both encourages and rewards reading during the holidays. Pop into your local library from Saturday the 22nd June and sign up to take part in this year’s ‘Marvellous Makers’ challenge theme which celebrates the creative arts.
As part of our programme of Summer Reading Challenge activities Glasgow Libraries have teamed up with Glasgow Mela, the city's multicultural festival of music, dance and arts, to offer an engaging and interactive author talk for families at the festival.
Join Nadine Aisha Jassat at Glasgow Mela to talk about the inspiration behind her children’s novels _The Hidden Story of Estie Noor_ and _The Stories Grandma Forgot_ and have the chance to come up with author ideas of your own.
