Films to Change the World: Media Co-op’s 20th Anniversary
Celebrate 20 years of filmmaking as Media Co-op donates 200 films to the National Library of Scotland. The National Library of Scotland will screen a programme of enraging and inspiring short films created for campaigns on gender justice, racism, class inequality and refugee rights, alongside the story of this unique workers' cooperative.
We are delighted to be joined by Paul Laverty, award-winning screenwriter for Ken Loach ('Sweet Sixteen'; 'I, Daniel Blake'; 'The Old Oak'), to celebrate Scotland's media co-operative.
Free, but ticketed. Please book here .
Media Co-op is a not-for-profit women-led, workers' co-operative. They produce film, animation, podcasts, graphic design, and branding for third-sector organisations.
