Beabadoobee
London based slacker folk bedroom pop artist Beabadoobee is the latest signing to Dirty Hit Records.
Having already amassed millions of streams with her own self-released recordings, Beabadoobee releases her new EP Patched Up, a playful yet bittersweet collection of songs from the 18-year-old newcomer. Described by Bea as a collection of songs that patch up a history of teenage unhappiness in the lead up to turning 18 years old. From the introspective folk-pop of opening track 'Everest' to wide-eyed love songs like lead single 'Dance With Me' and 'If You Want To', the Patched Up EP adds emotional and sonic depth to her previously released recordings. Elsewhere on the EP, 'If You Want To' is a full band indie rock stomper, further expanding her musical palette. Beabadoobee played her first headline show at London's St Pancras Old Church, which sold out in only a matter of hours.
